Regular Savings
With this account, members establish their primary membership account with OTFCU. These funds help create a pool of money used primarily for member loans. This account is a tiered rate account. Each dividend rate applies only to the portion of the account balance within the range. Accounts with balances greater than $2000 earn a blended rate based on the daily account balance.
Certificate Accounts
Open a Certificate Account with a minimum deposit of $1000; choose certificate maturities from 30 days to five years term. On certificate amounts greater than $50,000 higher rates higher rates are available. Penalties apply for early withdrawal. The rate is fixed for the term of the certificate.
IRA Savings
Chose from Regular, Roth, and Educational IRA. Members whose income is within the parameters set by the Internal Revenue Service may open an IRA account. Members are given basic information and are urged to check with their tax advisor for any in depth information. Our low $50 deposit balance makes IRA Savings an ideal place to begin saving for your future. This account gives you the flexibility of a deposit account and great earnings. Dividends are paid monthly. IRA penalties apply for withdrawals prior to age 59 ½. Deposits can be made in-person, through payroll deduction, or automatic transfer. Balances greater than $1000 may be placed in an IRA Certificate Account.
IRA Certificate Accounts
Open an IRA Certificate with a minimum deposit of $5000. Terms of one, two, or three years are available.
